Choosing Varifocals
Some people call them 'Progressives', others call them 'Multifocals' or 'Varifocals'. These are some of the different names used to describe the same type of lenses. In this article, we shall refer to them as 'Varifocals'
So what do Varifocals do exactly? They help people see in different ranges without having to swap to another pair of glasses. What that basically means is the lenses correct all far, near and intermediate ranges. Impressive!
Furthermore, there are no visible lines on the lenses and so they become a good choice if you don't want people to know you need reading correction!
Which Varifocal lens is the best?
This is a very important part of the Varifocal lens choosing process, finding the best lens to suit your daily needs.

With this lens you get a good field of view for distance and near, with a decent size for intermediate vision.
The Silver option is best described as a mid-high tier varifocal. Suitable for most tasks and recommended for the majority of people that want a Varifocal for general use.
