All our sunglasses or non-prescription frames are dispatched within 1 working day and normally take 2-3 working days to arrive in the UK.
Overseas orders take around 7-20 working days from dispatch to arrive.
It depends on where you are and what type of lenses you have chosen.
Orders processed here can take around 7-14 business days to arrive from when you have ordered them and depend on the complexity of the lenses chosen. With high index, tinted or varifocals/progressives taking a little longer.
Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 14-24 business days to arrive from when you have ordered them.
Yes you can. We will send your tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched for delivery. If by any chance you did not receive one, please send us a message and we will happily provide you one.

Frames & Lenses
The first thing you need to do, is pick a frame you like from our site. Next pick what lenses you want put inside those frames, as well as any coatings you would like added to the lenses. After giving us your prescription, we can do the rest for you!
Our premium packaging, which includes a gold embossed hard case, cloth and screwdriver come with any of our £29+ optical king premium frames.
We also automatically upgrade our customers with premium packaging who make orders including lenses >£29+ before any discounts are added.

Yes most definitely. All our glasses cant be turned into sunglasses.
Once you find the frames you like, click 'Add Prescription' and on the coatings page choose what type of sunglasses tint you would like to have.
Yes of course. All glasses shown on our online shop come with authentic official case and cloth provided.
Some designer frames do not come with a branded cloth, however, we will still provide you with one by giving you an Optical King cloth :)
Yes most definitely. Our virtual mirror app will allow you to do this when you click 'Try On'. The virtual app can help show you what the frames would look like, allowing yourself and others to see before buying.
Yes of course. If you would like to order just the frame with clear lenses just add the product to the basket.
Alternatively, if you would like to personalise the lenses with coatings/tints click 'Add prescription' and choose 'Non-prescription' then choose what you would like to have.

Unfortunately no. We do not sell anything for anyone below 16yrs old. This is one of our policies at Optical King which works within UK regulations.
Our lenses are made out of high quality CR39 and Polycarbonate plastic. We also supply Essilor lenses, leaving you with lots of choice.
In summary, we have cut out the middle man and the retail costs associated. This has allowed us to provide inexpensive glasses while maintaining focus on providing exceptional frames and lenses at the same time.
Sure, what you can do is check your current/old specs to see what information is written on the frames. The frame measurement tends to be on the inside of the frame arm.

The PD measurement is the distance between your pupils.
This is given to you after you have had your eyes tested at the Opticians by the Optometrist. The Optometrist is legally obliged to provide this to you, so if you don't get one - just ask them.
Yes it does. Your prescription must be no older than two years. Its important to note, recommended recall times vary from person to person depending on age and health. If you are unsure about anything, please send us an email with a photo of your prescription and any question you may have.

No you can not. The contact lens prescription is not always the same as your glasses prescription. This is due to the distance from the eyes to the lenses used for correction. Using a contact lens prescription to make lenses for glasses can lead to problems with your glasses. Please enter your correct glasses prescription when ordering.
